Welcome!

As Kalamazoo's
Newest Theatre Company

(as of September 2006 - that is)

we strive to provide opportunities for local actors and writers. Our first show, THINGS DIDN'T TURN OUT THE WAY I PLANNED, was performed at FIRE, 1249 Portage Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan, on November 4th, and 5th.

Not to brag, but we were VERY pleased with the way the performances went and with the audience turnout and response. Thanks everyone!

Our second production, NINETEEN VARIATIONS ON HAMLET, was performed on March 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th, at FIRE, and was performed April 6th at Grantland Street Playhouse in Livonia, Michigan.

We are working on more quality theatre for the 20007-2008 season.

SO

I am lining up people for the staged reading in August. It looks like the reading will be either August 11th or 25th.

Plans are in the works for a staged reading of fractured fairy tales in December. (It's always good to do something child-appropriate!), and a Shakespeare's Birthday bash on April 23rd (next year, not this year). I want to have a sonnet and soliloquy contest, and let the audience vote for the winner.
