Mt. Adams climb 2
I think it was June 10th, 2000 we attempted to climb Mt. Adams.  We should have known by the 3 mile hike into to trail-head that it was not a good time to climb.  Never the less, we gave it a whirl.  If i remember correctly, we made it up to about 8500' and finally camped since we could barely see each other through the driving snow.
Appearantly what doesn't kill you, deadens the brain, cause no too long after this we climbed Mt. Rainier.
Funny thing on the climb.  I didn't feel too great the whole time, and i thought it was just my lack of training.  Not that that wasn't an issue, but the day after we got back, i had to have my appendix removed.  I still don't know if it was a reaction to the chili-mac dinner Josh 'shared' in the tent.  I'm inclined to think so (get it? ... "inclined").  I slay me!
We all had just bought new crampons, and Josh decided on the way down to give them a whirl.  I don't know why Ryan and i didn't.  It probably would have made life considerably easier.  Oh well, we made it back, but boy did we stink.
