A cloud forming at the summit
A couple of years ago, Ryan, Josh and i had tried climbing Mt. Adams.  It was a bad time to try an ascent, so we only got to about 8,800 ft.  This time, the weather was perfect.  We started the climb somewhere around 10 AM on the 18th, and stayed the first night at the Lunch Counter (9,500 ft).

Looking up at the false summit
Since Josh and Ryan had to wait for me at the Lunch Counter, they built quite a good rock wall for wind protection.  I think most of the wall was already there, but they augmented it quite well.

Looking up at the summit from Lunch Counter, you can see the snow-fields and at the top is the false summit.
