On Sunday morning, i started out at 4:30 AM. Josh and Ryan waited until 5:30. We were hoping that would put us all at the summit around the same time, but they still beat me up by 15 - 20 minutes. Both Josh and Ryan are great climbers - they made the summit in 1 hour, 45 minutes - it took me 3 hours. I suppose it would help to be in shape, but that requires me to get off my lazy butt.
Anyhoo, i took these two pictures just after the sun came up. The shadow of Mt. Adams in the second one really intriuges me. |
