| FoV Point System FoV will use a simple "point" system for determining loot rewards at all FoV events. 1.) Each sanctioned event will have an associated point value. Raid points will be determined by the tier level assigned to that target. Any other sanctioned event having points will have the tier/point value announced prior to the start of the event. 2.) To earn points for any event, attendees MUST arrive at the event location/gathering location no later than 20 minutes past the POSTED time for the event. 3.) Late arrivals may be restricted from participating in the event, depending on the type of event, the difficulty of access,or the stage of progress of the event at that time. 4.) Late arrivals that are allowed to participate may earn partial point credit, at the discression of officers present at the event. The point amount will be communicated to late arrivals on an individual, case by case basis, and the decision of officers is final. 5.) Points will be used to "purchase" items that drop at sanctioned events. Any attendee with accumulated points can "bid" on an item. Every item will have a minimum point value of 1. 6.) The item will be rewarded to the attendee with the highest point "bid" for the item. Items become the property of the highest bidder, and there are no restrictions on how they use the item. No-trade items will be bid on immediately. 7.) Attendees can only use the total points they have acrued at the START of the event. Current event points will not be available until post-event. 8.) To be rewarded points for an event, the attendee must fully participate and remain until the final kill, or until the raid leader or officers declares the raid is concluded. This may entail several attempts to kill a target in the event of a wipe. Points will be rewarded even if there is no successful kill of the intended target, as long as the raid is determined to be concluded. 9.) A point sheet will record individual points and will be updated as needed. Members are encouraged to check their totals prior to attending an event. Officers will use the most updated point sheet at an event to monitor bids and expenditures. Decisions by officers with respect to bids/rewards will be deemed final and not open to negotiation. 10.) Point usage will be tracked and recorded, and point totals will be adjusted accordingly, to accurately reflect additions and subtractions of points. Members are responsible for checking accuracy and contacting officers in the event of any discrepencies. |
