The world has enough for the needs of all people but it doesn't have enough for the greed of one man.
Every man always acts correctly tested on his conception of the world.
Nothing changes the world more as if a man changes himself.
There are many flowers but little fruits on the tree of the good intentions.
Compare the oak with the bamboo if the snow falls: The oak remains solid but breaks under the heavy load. If the snow falls on the bamboo it bends down and survives the heaviest snowfall in good condition. The bamboo doesn't meet every burden with strength and keeps his point of view nevertheless.
With the striving for a positive thing we create the corresponding negative thing. If we strive for perfection, then we must struggle with our incompleteness. We strive after wisdom we have to struggle the ignorance. We strive for holiness with the sin. We try often to change so that we are "God more dignified". We need to love us just the way we are because God loves us just the way we are. If we have reached this we succeed is also to love the others just as they are and to love the world just as it is.
Be in the world but don't let world be in you!
Tradition is said is to shelter the fire and not to guard the ashes.
Whatever you hate, you draw it on you again and again, as long untill you overcome this intensive aversion.
If you are afraid of a man, you will never get to know him in his whole nature. If you give him however your attention and let him feel your unconditional esteem feels, he will progressively open for you. Then you will recognize that behind his negative behaviours which you have condemned nothing else stood as his disappointed longing for fulfilment.
If I don't go to inside, I go out emptily.
If nobody knows what shall happen all say something has to happen.
Who believes in the good in the man causes the good in the man.
Who is unable to be happy alone is unable to be happy with others, too. Who cannot be happy poorly cannot get happy richly either. Who doesn't find the joy inside himself will in vain look for this in the world.
Who tries to defeat darkness with darkness has already lost. It's better to switch a light then to complain about the darkness. Consider: Light can shine into the darkness never darkness into the light!
We need problems to get their presents.
Which traveller would keep his backpack on to relieve the train? We should also always submit our burdens God, if they get too heavy for us. We can neither overload nor annoy God by that.
Every man we mention a saint, had also many envious persons around him who did everything to damage his good reputation. Therefore we shouldn't cling to a good reputation too much, it says little about a man.
If you don't call yourself beautiful, so be happy. You don't have a lot of worries which beautiful people do. Beautiful people frequently have more hardly to cope with their aging. Relations based on the outer, are very unstable. Trust nobody who particularly refers to his outer. If somebody with is interested for you, then not because of your outer.
Fortune doesn't come by doing what one likes to do, but by liking what one has to do.
