   This Website was developed as part of the evaluation and assessment for Education 3943 (Curricular Uses of Computers), part of the Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Secondary) Undergraduate Program at Memorial University of Newfoundland. during the Summer 2002 Intersession. The objective of this project was to develop a number of activities that would enable teachers to enhance student learning by using different technologies.

    Included in this Website you will find numerous activities that you, as a teacher, can use in addition to your face-to-face teaching techniques to make things a little more exciting for your students. I have tried to develop activities that will aid your normal classroom practices and help bring them up to date with some of today’s modern technologies.

    The main focus of this website deals with a major concept of the Grade 8 science unit, The Earth’s Crust , which is a part of the Newfoundland curriculum. I hope that you are able to integrate some of these activities into your curriculum.
