| May 7 2002 - Thanks to Steve Trachsel i see my first Met lose. Steve did a great job walking Barry Bonds but he did a better job of giving up a 2RBI double by the opposing pitcher. The Mets were down by 2 runs and had bases loaded nobody out, John Valentin pich hit for the pitcher and hit into a double play after Rey Ordonez walked for Valentin. To add insult to injury their was an annoying young lady sitting in our section. She was screaming from the first pitch to the last. She was crazy screaming for balls, strikes, foul balls, and even cheering when the Mets had a pitching conference on the mound.I did not catch her name but i think it was Mary Jane. Thankfully Cowbell man shut her up, hopefully for good. |
