09/26/2003 Friday: Another Marit update!!!

Dear All,

thanks for baring with me. This is going to be so exciting.:)

I went to see "The Pianist" the other day. If you haven't seen it yet, you should run out and do so (hey, I suppose you have it for rent in the US already..). It's such a stunning, horrible, beautiful film. It took a few days for me to return to my normal self again.

General update;
In my CD player right now you'll find PJ Harvey - "Stories from the city, Stories from the sea", Damien Rice - "O", Lene Marlin - "Another Day", Gemma Hayes - "Night On My Side".

Wise time spent studying history, fun time spent browsing through record stores gathering medicine for the cold, cold winter coming up. Leftover time spent reading Paolo Coelho, creative time spent pretty much 24/7.

Hi everyone. Hope it's been a good summer (or winter) for you all. We've had a wonderful summer in Norway and I feel so full with energy. The sun does wonder for me. ;-)

I felt like writing you again. I know I don't write that often these days, the fact is just that I like to have something to tell you when I do write. But I want you to know I do check back to this site often and make sure I know what's going on. Plus, I appreciate your enthusiasm towards my new project. I'm so excited about sharing my music with you. So keep your patience. And I'll keep working. :)

The Big 2-0.
Hey beloved friends and listeners.

Can you believe I just turned twenty....? I was on my way home from the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, where I spent last week, when I realized I will never be a teenager again. Strange seeing it from the other perspective, knowing how much I've looked forward to this particular birthday for, well, most of the year gone by. Almost all of my friends have had their big days already.

Enough of that. I am happy to be part of the 20-crew and want to give my warm thanks for all your greetings. You never forget, do you? :)

So as I mentioned, I've been at some pretty wicked conserts lately. Big dreams came true for me getting to see my heroes Radiohead in Sweden two weeks ago, and greeting the summer in Denmark experiencing Björk, Sigur Ros and Beth Gibbons to name a few.

Hi Everyone!

It's a lovely day because the sun is shining. A wonderful day because I got my license today. Now I can finally drive around on my own and choose what music to listen to (or: Now I'm the boss.) Hehe. :)

A lot of new songs are taking shape, and my future is too. Promise to keep you updated.

Hey All!

I have to say I feel a bit bad right now. I got tired of the Norwegian weather and decided to go to Spain for a week. And I forgot to tell you! Hope you'll be happy to know I brought back sunshine for all of you. And I promise not to do it again.

Anyhow, I had a wonderful time, and got to do quite a lot of playing. My guitar was of course with me. I'm starting to really look forward to showing you my new songs. I feel like I'm evolving and developing every week, and every week something new comes to life. It's both fun and intriguing.

May 1st: Marion is right now home for a few days. Tomorrow Friday May 2nd she is taking her English exam. She has spent the week in New York City, where she visited Atlantic Records. The album is currently due to be released in 2004. First single is supposed to be released sometime this fall/winter.

Another wonderful day of sunshine...! I'm so ready for summer it's not even funny. How nice it's going to be being able to sit outside and play till the sun goes down. Marion is now on Sweden she told us that she will be in Sweden for 2 months to record.

False alarm!!!- Some radio station said that Marit had a techno song out! Don't believe them Marit said its not true!! She said that she'll tell us if there is something we need to know...

That's so messed up...! I honestly haven't released anything. Plus, I would never release dance music. You all know that! ;-) Make sure to call into the station if he claims it's me again... ok? :) Big hugs, Marit.
