Floorpan Restoration 2
Some of the rust revealed along body seams and welded attachments anfter undercoating removal and degreasing.   These are places where the paint failed and peeled away.
My one significant rust-through, a 4" x 5" area on the forward side of the driver's rear wheel well.  Not too bad for a car that spent the early part of its life in New Jersey!  It appears that the paint failed and pulled away with the undercoating in this area.
Fun, fun, fun...  This was the degreasing stage before I had discovered that the Primis Brake Cleaner did such a good job removing undercoating.
Afterwards...clean and glossy black original paint.  I hit the rusty spots with Eastwood's Rust Remover then painted with their Rust Sealer.  Nothing like a clean bottom!
