Spotted - Guests at the Park have been saying that the Bedrock area around Flyboys, Boulder Bumpers and the Rock Raceway is fenced off because the area is going to be retheamed to something new (maybe Nickelodeon) for the 2003 season. Flags have also been spotted in the Action Zone area, possibly were the new Huss Jump 2 ride will be located.

Rumour - It is rumoured that for the 2003 season Wonderland will receive a Huss Jump2 ride to be possibly located in the new Action Zone section of the Park. Some also say that the Bedrock area of the park will be removed because it receives low traffic from park patrons. We will have to see as the season comes to an end when PCW will finally announce what's new for next year.

Rumour - There have been many rumours surrounding Wonderland over the past few months. Many people have been saying that the park has been sold and will be closing, or that it has been sold and will be moving to Niagara Falls, Canada. However I do not believe these rumours are true. They just seem to be too ludacris to be true, besides many park officials have denied any of these claims. On CityTV (Toronto)'s morning show 'Breakfast Television' they were at Wonderland in the morning of May 3 and had asked one of the park's head people whether any of these rumours were true, she said no. Emails have also been sent out denying this whole issue and Wonderland's Barry Jones bought ads in the Toronto Sun and Toronto Star denying this whole rumour too. But others mention that  parks do lie and this all may just be a cover up, they may be moving the park in a few years or piece by piece. I guess we'll just have to wait and see as only time will tell... but I don't believe it.

Semi-Confirmed - According to Paramount Canada's Wonderland's official website, Psyclone will be added to a new area of the park, to be called Paramount Action Zone. In the 2002 attractions datasheet press release on the website, it lists Sol Loco as The Orbiter, which suggests that that area of the park will be turned into Paramount Action Zone and the old themeing will be removed.

Rumour - There have been a lot of people saying that with the birth of Vaughan Mills across the road from PCW that they will be either: A) building a new coaster as mentioned before or B) getting more funding from VIACOM to buy out land that is surrounding them. With this new land they can begin develping that land and expand on the uncharacteristically smallness of the park. They definately need something to bring them up to teh status that Six Flags parks have received.  Now, with the land they are supposed to be buying, they will be placing a new coaster, new games area, and several smaller rides and food/merchandise stands. It has also been rumoured that they will be putting in a small hotel and camp area much like the one at Six Flags Darien Lake,  and offer a new two day passport for somewhere in the neighbourhood of 60 dollars. The rooms and sites are supposed to be offered at resonable rates, so we will see if this will actually happen.

Al's Rumour - I have heard many different rumours all about a very large coaster similar to Stealth but larger. It will be called Blaster and will be located behind teh Minebuster. These rumours are most likely to come true because Wonderland hasn't had a major coaster since Top Gun opened in 1995.

Rumour -
Certain sources seem to claim that Wonderland does not have enough power to run a major coaster due to it's location in Vaughan, which doesn't have a major power grid. Other sources claim that a ride is set to go to the back of the park  near white water canyon, some construction going on?

Rumour -
A giant hyper coaster might be coming to Wonderland in 2002. Sources also say that PCW might get a Flying Super Saturator clone like the one at Paramount's Carowinds.

2002 Large Roller Coaster
Rumo
r - Is a new coaster in the works for Wonderland? There has been a rumor going around that Wonderland will be receiving a new roller coaster for 2002. It's rumored that the coaster will either be an Intamin hypercoaster, or a flying dutchman coaster like Stealth at Paramount's Great America. This rumor may very well be true because Wonderland hasn't received a major coaster since 1995 when Top Gun debuted. It received Taxi Jam in 1998 and The Fly in 1999, but they were small, junior coasters. This new coaster  may be built behind the Mighty Canadian Minebuster. We'll just have to wait and see if this rumor is true. Hopefully it is, because Wonderland is in desperate need of a new world-class record breaking coaster.

June 28, 2003
Rumour - In 2005 PCW will add a new B&M coaster, possibly a flying coaster, floorless or hypercoaster.

June 28, 2003
Rumour - A waterpark expansion for the park will definately be happening for the 2004 season. This is due to the fact the Splash Works is always fulled to capacity with guests. Something will be built near the Black Hole and expansion will start to wrap around behind the wavepool. There could also be a huge new waterslide complex next to Wipe Out.

June 4, 2003
Rumour - A hyercoaster could be coming to PCW for it's anniversary in 2005! For the 2004 season, Wonderland could add more water slides, a new Nick Central ride or another flat ride type attraction.

May 18, 2003
Rumour - Sources say that a new B&M Floorless coaster called Footloose might be added to Wonderland for the 2005 anniversary season. It may be located in the behind Sledge Hammer and Psyclone  in the Action Zone area of the park that was added back in 2002. There doesn't seem to be a lot of room there and the Kingswood Music Theatre might be removed to make way for the new coaster. It could also be put in the Eastern section of the park, behind Drop Zone and extending to where the Bedrock Aquarium used to be.  A Giant Huss Topple Tower ride, which has only one version currently, would carry 16 people a cycle.

April 13, 2003
Rumour - An employee of PCW  tells us that he heard from his supervisor and area manager that they will be tearing down Dragon Fire soon because PCW is getting a new roller coaster in 2005.
