The ride starts off with the platform spinning in a counterclockwise direction and then the little cars start to spin in a clockwise direction so that the ride gets very dissorienting. You continue to spin around in different directions until the cars and platform slowly stop and the ride ends. Rating: 7/10 |
This was one of the original rides that opened at Wonderland back in 1981. It sits up on a small hill and can be seen from the pathway. The ride was completely changed and renamed in 1996. This ride is a classic found in many parks and is similar to the tea cup themed rides. It is a platform with with five poles that each have five arms and two seats for each arm. |
Spinovator was an original ride from 1981 and used to be called Quixote's Kettles because it was themed to the Medieval Faire theme. The cars were originally shaped like tea kettles with giant handle bars. The entire ride also had grey and brown colours until 1996 when it was completely renovated and repainted as the name was changed to Spinovator. Colours: The platform and main arm are a shade of green, four cars are orange, four yellow, four turqoise and four purple. Best Seats: If you sit in the outer seat of each car you will feel the g forces more. Queue Line Wait Time: The wait is about 5 to 10 minutes. |
