You start by going through the queue line to the back and then you come back around to the front where you enter the platform area where you select a car to ride in (each car holds two people). Once everyone is seated and secured the giant arm starts to spin slowly as the cars fly outwards to the midway and surrounding trees. Next the ride picks up speed and the cars now climb up and come back down quickly and repeat this pattern as the cars fly outward and then come back to the ground faster and faster. This continues until the cars start to slow down and they come closer to the ground and the ride stops. Rating: 7.5/10 |
Klockwerks is a fun family ride that has been at Wonderland since 1981. The ride sits in a little dugout area surrounded by fencing on the ground and trees higher up. The ride is a classic at many parks and is dizzying and fast. Klockwerks was moved to its present location in 2001 after a former ride was removed (Bayern Curve). |
Klockwerks moved from its original 1981 location back in 2001 after the ride Bayern Curve was removed from the Park. Shockwave now sits where Klockwerks used to be located. Colours: The main arm is painted grey at the base and then red above, with the upper parts painted yewllow and the cars a combination of all three colours. Each arm of the car is eaither red or grey. Best Seats: It doesn't matter much where you sit because everyone will see the sky and the ground as you spin around. Queue Line Wait Time: The wait is about 5 to 10 minutes. |
