You enter the queue area and sit in one of the 10 rows of the ship (each holds five people). Once the restraints are brought down the gondola begins to move slowly in a forward motion and then backwards, and this pattern continues as you go faster and get higher in the air until you are almost perpendicular to the ground. The ship starts to slow down and pauses at the top before it comes back down continues up in the opposite direction. This time you go over the top and complete a loop 100 ft up in the air. After this the ship does another revolution in the opposite direction before it starts to slow down and moves forward and backward until it reaches the ground again and comes to a complete stop. Wonderland added Jet Scream to its flat ride lineup in 1990. Jet Scream is the looping version of the classic pirate ship as it goes upsidea few times in one direction and then pauses and reverses in the opposite direction. Jet Scream is located behind the mountain to the left and is one of the major attractions in the back half of the park. Jet Scream is a favourite ride among visitors. |
Colours: The main arm is a darker grey, the ship is metallic grey, while the seats are metallic blue. Best Seats: You should sit in the middle rows closer to the outer seats if you want to have a good view of the park. Queue Line Wait Time: The wait is about 10 to 15 minutes. |
