As you enter the queue line you go around part of the carrousel until you get onto the platform from the entrance turnstile. You can pick the horse or carriage you want and once everyone has found a place the ride begins. It starts off slowly and picks up a little speed until it goes at uniform motion around in a circle for a few minutes. After this the ride will then start to slow down until it comes to a full stop. The ride is similar to many of the other classic carrousels that you'll find at any park and is a fun break from the rush and thrill of the other rides. Rating: 5/10 |
Antique Carrousel is a classic ride found at many parks and is the perfect ride for the family because it is gentle, fun and relaxing. The ride is located on higher land in a small area surrounded by classic landscaping, including the queue line and shrubbery. The carrousel is in the middle of the midway of Grande World Exposition of 1890. |
Colours: The building is painted white, pink and a pale green with lights around the perimeter and inside the roof. The platform is wooden and the horses and carriage are different colours. Best Seats: If you are looking for more excitement you should sit on the horses that move up and down, otherwise take a seat on the stationnery horses or in one of the carriages. Queue Line Wait Time: The wait is approximately 5 minutes. |
