| Vortex Built in 1981, Vortex is Arrow's highest steel suspended coaster standing. Vortex takes you to the top of Wonder Mountain and then turns around and whips you through it's twists and turns over 2361 ft of track. |
| Ride Guide The ride starts by going up a 90 ft. hill and turning around up in Wonder Mountain. From their you drop 86 ft. into a banked turn and swing up 45 degree angles and fly by the station. Next you wind around the water as you swirve in and out then back into the station. The Vortex is a rough, but thrilling and fun ride. It's one of the best rides in the park. Rating: 8/10 Other Information Colours: The track is red, the supports are black, and the trains are red and black. Best Seats: Sit in the front seats for the best view and the best sensation over the water. Queue Line Wait Time: There is normally an 1+ hour wait for this ride because it is very popular. Photos |
