You start by getting pulled up a tower by huge cables. As you slowly move higher and higher you can see the entire span of the park. This is a great oppurtunity to get a great aerial photo if you want to. Once you reac the top you  sit there for a few seconds anxiously awaiting your decent, not knowing when it will happen. Unexpectedly you are dropped until you hit the brakes and are slowly brought down to the ground.

Best Seats: It doesn't matter where you sit on Drop Zone beacuse it's a free fall not a coaster and everyone has the same experience.
Queue Line Wait Time: There is normally a long wait for this ride due to it's popularity and it's long loading time, approxiamtely a 1 hour or more wait.




     New for 1997, at 23 storeys or 230 feet, Drop Zone is Canada's tallet freefall ride. It was built by Intamin and was put into the new Drop Zone Plaza next to Wild Beast along with The Edge and Speed City Raceway.
