Part 1
Scream. It could have been a scream of joy but this was a scream of pain. The scream echoes through the walls of Drake Castle. The running of footsteps could be heard from a distance as well. The source of the scream from a room. It belong to person who once saved the world from the Mist. His name was Vahn. The former bearer of Meta. Not even, the most powerful Re-Seru could stop these nightmares. Vahn was sitting up in his bed. His eyes were blood. His pulse was like a running racehorse. His body was cover with sweat. Tears were rolling down his cheeks. A soft knock came from the door. "Vahn. Vahn, can I come in, please?" A voice said. "Come in, Mei." Vahn said. The green hair girl enters the room. "Vahn, are you all right?" Mei said. "I am fine. It was just a bad dream." Vahn said.

"Vahn, you been having nightmares for month now. You need to talk about it." Mei said. Vahn was silent. "Vahn, please tell me?" Mei said. Vahn took a deep breath. "I can't. I must not. Tomorrow, I am heading to Missionary. I know it is short notice. I must go." Vahn said. "Then if you are going, I am going, too." Mei said. Vahn sighs. "Ok, Mei, you can come." Vahn said.

-Next Day,
Noa's House (Jeremi)-

"Time to get up, Cort." Noa said as she shakes a little boy. "No." Cort said sleepily. "Then no breakfast." Noa smiles. Cort open his eyes and quickly got out of bed. Noa laugh as she walks into the kitchen. "So, what are we going to do today, Sis?" Cort said as he was eating his pancakes. "We need to get you some more clothes." Cort made a face. "Don't make that face at me. You are growing like weed." Noa said. Suddenly, a feeling comes over her. A cold feels that would chill the bone. Slowly, Noa got into defense stance. "Cort, come stand and next to me." Noa said. Her eyes were darting around the room. "What is wrong, Noa?" Cort said as got up and walk to his sister. "You sense my present, former bearer of Terra. I am impress." A voice said. "Who are you? Why are you want?" Noa said. "I come to bear a warning and prophecy.

Evil is near.
No place to run.
No place to hide.
Ra-Seru will return in blaze of light.
Or a blaze of darkness.

No one knows.
No one will tell.
The Chosen must rise again.
Each alone and together.
The Innocent One will travel to the Land
of Souls to find the Truth or the Lies.

Noa was holding Cort close to her as she watch the stranger disappear. "We are going to see Gala and Vahn." Noa said as she look to the spot where the stranger was. She turn cold but she didn't know from what. Perhaps, the danger ahead.

Part 2

The room was dark beside the light from candles. The smell of light increase and sweat full the room. The faint outline of man sat in the middle of this room. His name was Gala. A master martial artist. Former bearer of Ozma. To everyone that enters the room, Gala seems to be asleep. Gala was not sleeping. He was in trance like state. The images flashes through his mind like a violent storm. None of the images stay long enough for him to see them. A soft knock broke him from his trance. A monk's head pop from the door. "Master....I am sorry to disturb you. But Master Vahn wish to see you. Master Vahn is in the training room." The monk said. "Thank you. You are dismiss." Gala said as he watches the monk leave. Gala stand up and almost chuckles.

Gala thought for a moment. He would have never laugh if was not for his friends.....his family.

**Flashback: Events after Ratayu's Genesis Tree**

The fire was bright as its light full the cavern. They happen to find a cavern before night fall. The cavern was high enough that the mist didn't reach it. Noa was sound asleep. Vahn was watching the fire and Gala seems mediating. "Gala....Can I ask you a question?" Vahn said. Gala opens his eyes and look up at Vahn. "Yes," Gala said. "Why do not you laugh?" Vahn said as he turn his eyes to Gala. Gala blinks in surprise. "Because it is improper of a Biron monk to do so." Gala reply. "Then you must lead a very quiet life." Vahn said as his eyes back toward the fire. "That isn't true. Biron life is very demanding." Gala said. "It isn't that demanding to stop you from laughing? Is it?" Vahn said. Gala's eyes turn to the fire. "No....I just do not have a reason to laugh." Gala said softly.

"Well, you do now. You have me and Noa. I have feel this is going to be a long journey. I guess, everyone going to have learn to work together. You may just learn how to laugh." Vahn smiles. Gala nods his head. "Why did you ask me this question anyway?" Gala said. "Noa. She asks me about it. Noa is scare of you, Gala. She doesn't know how to talk to you but she does trust you." Vahn said softly. Gala blinks. "I didn't know that. She seems so childish but she is a good fighter," Gala said as he sees the expression on Vahn's face. "I know that she never have be in connect with the human world. She makes me feel uncomfortable." Gala said. Vahn smiles softly. "Noa can make everyone feel uncomfortable or loved. She has a good heart that is a very important thing." Vahn said. "Now, I see why Gi Delilas thought you were our leader." Gala said, "You have ability to connect with people. If I were the leader, Noa and I wouldn't got along. It could have cause the destruction of Legaia. While, you keep things neutral between us. That is very important. Perhaps more than wisdom of Master Teacher." Vahn looks up at Gala. "Thank you, Gala. Your words mean a lot to me." Vahn said.

**End of Flashback.**

He lost in thoughts and memories until he made it to the training room. Gala saw Vahn. His mouth drop in shock "Vahn, what happen to you?" Gala said.
