Chapter 24 : Bunny Found

"You're such a nice girl." She told her, "Inviting me here and giving me this nice food. When my husband gets back he'll have to meet you and we can give you some nice food in return."

The other woman grunted as her stomach growled. She ignored it with as much difficulty as she had ignoring Bunny. Couldn't the stupid Chikyuu-jin shut up?!

The woman was medium height, slightly taller than Bulma, and had wavy hair that fell past her shoulders when let down. It was black at the roots to about midlength before turning blonde until the very tips. The hair was currently pulled back in a tight ponytail, out of the way should the woman have to fight. And she could fight. Her body was slender and lithe, capable of moving at a sixteenth of a second's notice. She was not someone who put up with being messed with.

"If you don't shut up," She snarled at Bunny, "Then I may remove you from my plan and blow your sorry hide straight through the next seven dimensions, understood?"

"Of course deary." Bunny replied cheerily, unfazed by her kidnapper's threats, "Now, are your parents around? I think it would be lovely to meet two people kind enough to raise a daughter like you. Oh, and speaking of daughters, you and Bulma can be friends. Wouldn't that be great?"

A vein popped out on the young female warrior's forehead.

'Can't... take it... any longer... She's too damn happy...'

The woman was ready to explode and strangle Bunny in her trademark temper tantrum when a familiar ki flared up not too far away. She blinked. Here? Already? Her gaze shifted back to the blonde she had kidnapped, still blabbering on about how nice it would be for blahdee blah blah blah blabbedy blab to happen. The warrior inwardly cringed.

'Hurry up! Hurry up and get here so I can get rid of HER!!'

Flying overhead, Vegeta felt the higher ki source back slowly away from Bunny. He smirked. Whoever it was, he didn't blame them. Even his father or Freiza probably would've turned tail and ran when faced with her stupidity. How such a fool could mother as intelligent a creature as Bulma was beyond him. Thinking of Bulma, he could sense her following him. He stopped and growled, didn't she realise that the ki with Bunny was very high and of the same standard as the prince himself??? Well, no, of course not. Vegeta hadn't even told her there WAS another ki source about and he was beginning to regret it.

The Saiya-jin no Ouji continued to fly on, hoping to reach and rescue Bunny before his insistent almost-mate caught up.

Below and quite aways behind, Bulma scrambled over a fence and landed feet first (luckily) in a rice paddy. The scientist sank up to her mid calves in mud, numerous small sludgy creatures moving around her.

"Shimatta!" She cursed and forced herself to cross.

After crossing the rice poddy Bulma realised that Vegeta was nowhere to be seen. She sat down on the bank surrounding the paddy, legs coated in mud, and concentrated. They had a link, a bond, and she was going to use it.

She concentrated harder, trying to make her mind find Vegeta's. What she ended up doing was not exactly expected. There was a sudden roaring noise in her ears and Bulma tried not to scream. It was as if the world was filled with... power.

Bulma blinked.

'Oh Kami, I can sense ki.'

This was true. She could sense Bunny, not too far away, with Vegeta heading towards her. Vegeta's own ki was MUCH higher and it seemed to have some sort of line coming from it... A line connected to herself. Bulma smiled, it was good to have real proof that they were bonding.

She focused back to Vegeta, only to realise that there was another line coming off him...

Vegeta landed outside a small Japanese style house. He was about to break down the flimsy door when it opened alone and a woman about his height stood before him.

"What took you so long?" She cursed, "I thought you were fast..."

He stared at her. From her frame he could tell she was a warrior but there was something else... "Do I know you?" He asked, feeling stupid for asking such a stupid question.

"You don't remember?" She asked, raising a perfect eyebrow. The she sighed, "I guess I should have expected that." She let him into the house and led him into a smaller side room where Bunny was sitting. "After all, you were only five when our home was destroyed, and I was only three."

"You're Saiya-jin?"

The woman rolled her eyes. "Is today a bad day for you, Vegeta?" She asked, "Because I remember you as being smarter than this." She waved a tail in front of his face. It looked normal, but then it caught the sunlight...

"Ah, how beautiful!" Bunny squealed as the tail flashed golden.

"Shut up." Both Saiya-jin said in unison.

The woman looked back to Vegeta, a serious look on her face. "I am Kiyashi-Hime. I've used all this kidnapping blah to get you here because there's something very important I need to tell you, brother..."
