| *Full Name: Nathan Jonas Jordison *Birthdate: April 26, 1975; 29 years old. *Born: In Des Moines, Iowa (Resides there now) *Marital Status: He supposedly has a girlfriend at the moment. *Occupations/Instruments: Main drummer of Slipknot and Guitarist and sings for Murderdolls *Siblings: Two sisters; *Nicknames: Superball, Anal (im not asking about that one)*He got the nickname Superball after they played one of their first gigs and they had messed up badly and he was hyped up and boucning around the stage. *Previous Jobs: Midnight shift at a Des Moines gas station. *Injuries: He cut his leg open while touring with Coal Chamber; Got a concussion and stitches from a pipe thrown by Shawn. *Greatest Influences: Black Sabbath (When he was 6, he had seen a news report stating that a metal star had bitten the head off of a bat the night before. A few days later he went out and bought the album Blizzard Of Ozz.), then Venom, Slayer, Jane's Addiction, Police, Cannibal Corpse, Mercyful Fate, KISS, Fantomas, Misfits, Melvin, Motley Crue and some 70's glam stuff. (for example The New York Dolls, Pussycat and Plasmatics - a group well-known for setting a car on fire on T.V.) *Best Friend: Slipknot's Paul Gray *His masks: Japanese Kabuki Mask (On halloween when Joey was 10, he had snuck out and his mom caught him. He was kind of stoned or drunk and his mom Jackie lept out at him wearing the original mask and scared him.) He currently has over 30 variations of his masks, he paints all the designs himself. *Bands: Before Slipknot he was in the bands Avanga, Havenots, Modifidious and Anal Blast with Paul Gray - they wrote and recorded the 'Vaginal Vempire' CD. Then he was in a punk band called The Rejects, now known as Murderdolls. He also joined black metal project Hell Pig with Necrophagia's frontman Killjoy (he also wanted to join Necrophagia when they looked for a drummer, but he was busy with Slipknot)- Joey says he's going to take up the craziest drumming in whole of black metal history. A couple of the songs were originally done by Wednesday's old band Frankenstein Drag Queens an then redone be the Murderdolls *~On their first album Joey plays drums as well as guitar as then they didnt have a drummer (now the Ghoul) |
