Entry for January 27, 2008
Well as I begin to dream up my next journey in life, (What do I really want? Which area do I want to find a studio in? Can I live there as well? Close in, or out elsewhere?) ; I am preparing to run 5 one day workshops thru the Escape gallery in Murwillumbah, one a month from Feb till June.
It's amazing what comes your way when you start putting out for what you really want to do or happen. So here goes Universe, I would like a spacious shed/cum/studio somewhere inspiring, with interesting people nearby, a gallery/shop outlet that I can offer my hours to in a communal way, space to park the bus till we've made her ready for her next journeying, with us or new owners and so I can live in her till my work can fully support me, (paying rent aaieeiih!) It needs to be sort of close to Liffy as she is getting older,( the recent shingles and broken arm require my live in attendance right now), but I do need a little more space to spread my many areas of artworks. A space to be alone in for days at a time with just my creations. A place where I don't have to stop work to cook someone's dinner if I' m in the middle of work.
OK enough for now, I'm off to bed to dream my dream home/studio/workshop/gallery into reality. Any ideas or possible locations would be most welcome if you know of anyone or place in the Northern Rivers Region, short term or long, for exchange work plus dollars ? I'm a great house cleaner!
