ALICE SPRINGS BEANIE; FESTIVAL   WHATS FOR SALE NOW
Mob.+61(0)428 396 946
Antennas to the Universe are very warm crocheted hats, or as we call them in Australia, 'Beanies'. Meg, a Beaniologist, has been making them for twenty years, and now wins Awards and Special Mentions at The Alice Springs Beanie Festival, held every winter in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia.
They are called Antennas because they help you to focus, and remember, that we are all connected to a wonderful invisible network, she calls The CosmicNet.
Each Beanie is lovingly hand crafted, unique in its own design. Even when making a Rainbow Beanie the colours used will vary and the number of various features will vary, creating hats that, for example, will resonate with the Numerolgy of 3, or 7, or 9.(Some beanies can wait for some time until their wearer arrives to claim them.)
Meg-an's inspiration is always open for new designs as they fly in from the cosnet.
Your new cosy headwear for this winter might already have been made! But if you can't find it in the catalogue of photos of Current Stock, Meg can create one specially designed for you , choice of colours, patterns, landscapes, size, and email photos pre-purchase. Check out her latest creations on www.flickr.com/photos/artnomadix or click FlickrPhotos button above. The Beanies are made from Pure Wool yarn and Acrylic (feathery) yarns combined together, but can be made using only Natural Fibres, or Acrlyics. She used to only use natural fibres, until finding that the new acrylic yarns help buffer the prickly, itchiness of pure wool, especially for senstive skin types. Being nomadic travellers, please SMS to mobile/cell phone for more prompt reply, as we are often on the edge of telecommunications etc.
