Tint Removal
Removing tint can take as long as you want it to. Theres many ways to remove tint. This is how I got my old tint off:
1. Got a spray bottle and put soap and water in it.
2. Got a few razor blades
3. Got some paper towels and a plastic bag.
Then I went out to my truck (and the good thing about a truck is you dont have any defroster wires on any of your windows) and I picked at a corner and peeled it off. It comes off in usually more than one piece. After I riped all the tint pieces off, it leaves behind another layer. This is where the soapy water comes in. Spray the soapy water all over the window your working on and take the razor blade and easily get everything off. NOTE: Be careful because if you tip the razor the wrong way you will scratch your window and be extra careful around the edges of the door so you dont cut any of your rubber moldings. And if you do have wires coming from your mirror or defroster wires or antenna wires anywhere on any of your windows, be extra careful, I would recommend just bringing it in to a tint shop. Once you get everything off, just spray your windows one more time and go over them with the razor again. Then use some window spray and shine em up!
An even easier way to do this is to park in the sun so the tint gets good and warm. Then just peel it off and it usually comes right off, or you can use a heat gun or a hair dryer. And if there is anything left, you can use soapy water and a razor to finish it up!
Well, if you do it right, it should look as good as mine! No scratches, cuts, slices, nothen!
Im not responsible for mess ups or any other way this info is used for.
