'a' sounds like 'ah'
'e' sounds like 'eh' as in the noise your grandma makes when she can't here ya.
'i' sounds like a long 'e'
'o' sounds like a long 'o'
'u' sounds like 'ew' as in the noise a girl says when she steps in something gross
pronunciation notes will be made after each word.
Also it may be noted that all verbs (any word you can put the word 'to' in front of such as 'to be' or 'to walk' etc.) It also might be noted that the word 'is' is a form of the verb 'to be' so is always goes in the end of a sentance such as the sentance "This is bad" which would be "Kore wa dame desu" whereas desu is the word is.
