| So ya wanna learn some Japanese vocab, eh? Well this is the place to learn a word each month that I update the site. I will of course keep the word there so you can look back and check them out but keep coming back and you may learn a few things. | vowel sounds are as follows: 'a' sounds like 'ah' 'e' sounds like 'eh' as in the noise your grandma makes when she can't here ya. 'i' sounds like a long 'e' 'o' sounds like a long 'o' 'u' sounds like 'ew' as in the noise a girl says when she steps in something gross pronunciation notes will be made after each word. Also it may be noted that all verbs (any word you can put the word 'to' in front of such as 'to be' or 'to walk' etc.) It also might be noted that the word 'is' is a form of the verb 'to be' so is always goes in the end of a sentance such as the sentance "This is bad" which would be "Kore wa dame desu" whereas desu is the word is. Confused yet? You'll get it eventually. Have fun! We'll start with basics and work our way up. |
