in no particular order

I've always wanted to do this. Keep a journal, I mean. I've tried so many times before, and always failed to keep it up.

So what's different about this one?

Well, first of all, you're reading it. It's public. Anyone could wander across this and read it (although the chances of stumbling across this page without invitation are pretty slim). Second of all, you're reading it. It's public.

So why will this journal succeed where my others have failed? I figure that if i give this journal a home in cyberland, someone might actually like it (shudder). And if someone likes it, they might like me, and I'll take all the ego points I can get.

Isn't that what the internet is all about? If you're not using it to make money, you're probably using it to get your point across. Or you're looking for someone who gets your point, so you don't feel like the only fool who likes tap dancing naked in rainstorms or thinks that hardware is the most fascinating thing on the planet.

And so here, in no particular order, are the thoughts in my head. I have a lot of them. This journal might indeed be a long one.
