Furry is the shortened term for Anthropomorphic Animals. They are animals that have humanlike qualities(Or vice versa). Furries can range anywhere from talking rabbits(Such as the ones from Watership Down) to people with animal ears and tails(Which are common in Anime, an extremely popular example would be Inuyasha). Most have the intelligence of humans(Some above), can talk, and are able to stand on two legs. Personified fishes, birds, and reptiles are also furries(More specifically either featheries or scalies). Mythological animals such as dragons and unicorns are furries too. Some examples of furries are Micky Mouse, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Bugs Bunny.
