A NOTE ABOUT STEALING

You know it's not right. Not only are you taking someone else's artwork, you're taking all the time, hard work, love, and dedication put into it! And plagiarism isn't much worse. What's plagiarizing? According to the Merriam Webster Online Dictionary, it's "to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source". Simply put, it's stealing with a bits of editing thrown in to make others believe you made it yourself. For example,
let's say N00B wants to steal my picture of Lyrit. But N00B knows that if she claims it, someone else will find the actual picture and everyone will discover she's a thief! So, to cover it up, N00B alters a few things and,

comes up with this. Isn't it ironic? She stole it from me and claims that anyone who steals it from her will be in trouble! Oh, it's pitiful, and awfully sad too--This kinda thing happens every day, both online and offline.

So if it's not yours, ask for permission to use it, and be respectful of artists and writers. It doesn't matter what form it's in--if it's stealing, it's stealing. No self-respecting human would do such a thing! How would you feel if something of yours was taken?
