The Lyrical Insurrection Artist Showcase is a part of the Insurrection Artist Network. We feature the HottestPoets, Rappers, Musicians, Vocalists, Crafters, and other artists in the Cincinnati area and around the nation. Hosted by a network of premier poets and vocalist, including Poetresse, Elament, Matt Alvis, husband and wife team Hakiym, the servant King and Itege Olufemi and other special guest hosts, the Lyrical Insurrection has truly elevated the spoken word experience! No matter the talent, every Wednesday at the Greenwich Jazz Club the stage and the mic open for any one bringing fire and rage to burn down oppression or water to to wash away pain and hurt. That is the aim, to be a cleansing torch to light the way of the thru the darkenss of struggle.
