Happy Times (Youth Bowling Night)

Remember the happy times not long ago? I always ask myself this. We used to be very actively involved  in our Youth in church. I remember the first time attending Youth. It was after much persuasion by my sister that I finally agreed to go to our weekly youth meeting in church. The first meeting I attended was a fun barbeque night. It was 1999 then. Since then, I always go to youth. It was wasn't till 2000 that we got more active in youth. I would say the peak of our active involvement in Youth was in 2001. At the end of year 2001, we even participated in the Youth Convention in Kuching. All alone.. all youths! It was a very good experience. We met friends from all around Sarawak and some Perth friends too.

Besides that, one activity I remember very vividly is the Youth Bowling Night. It was the Saturday before our mid-year exams. My sister and I decided not to go at first, but after second thoughts, we decided to go for the sake of relaxation and enjoyment. It was a fun night. The laughter and smile which I can't find anymore these days. See the shining smiles in the photos during our Youth Bowling Night. I never regretted going to the bowling night despite the fact that exams were very near that time. Believe or not, the mid-year exams I later sat for was also the best I've ever did. I scored 90% and above for all subjects except BM 70 plus and KH I got 88%. Wow.. that was really my best results. Since then, history never repeats anymore.
