12-13 cups bread flour
2 T salt
1 cup sugar
4 packages rapid rise yeast
1 cup oil
4 cups hot water
2 beaten eggs
Combine 12 cups of flour with other dry ingredients. Combine oil and water.
Combine combinations. Add eggs. Add more flour as needed until dough is not too
sticky to work with. Cover with towel and let rest 10 minutes.
Make bracha (Check Jewish catalog.) and remove small piece of dough to burn in
the oven. Form challahs. It works best to use pans with high sides, so the
challahs will grow up instead of out. Cover with towel and let rise until double
in size. Brush with egg. Sprinkle with seeds. Bake in 325˚ oven (300˚ convection)
for 20-25 minutes.
