This WebQuest addresses the following National Technology Foundation Standards:

#2 - Student develop positive attitudes toward technology uses
          that support lifelong learning, collaboration,personal pursuits, and
          productivity.
#3 - Students use productivity tools to collaborate in constructing
          technology enhanced models, preparing publications, and
          producing other creative works.
#4 - Students will use a variety of media and formats to
          communicate information and ideas effectively to multiple
          audiences.

The Performance Indicators for grades 9 - 12 are:

#5 - Students will use technology tools and resources for
           managing and communicating personal/professional
           information. (Standards 3 and 4)
#10 - Students will collaborate with peers, experts and others to
           contribute to a content related knowledge base by using
           technology to compile, synthesize, produce and disseminate
           information, models and other creative works.
           (Standards 4, 5 and 6)

This WebQuest satisfies the following Objectives from the Massachusetts Arts Curriculum Frameworks:

Students will aquire and apply essential skills and literacy unique 
to each art form.
Students will use analytical and critical thinking to respond to
works of art.
Students will investigate the cultural and historical contexts of the
arts.
