Narration
Tap: " I have never seen my dad that day onwards. I then asks mum why she parts with dad. Mum says we might love someone at the begining. But soon, we would get tired of the person. She says I will understand this when I grow up.
Tap: "No matter how busy and tired, every night mum will teach me how to play Bach and Beethoven on the piano. But in my heart, I am learning the songs of Danny Chan and Leslie Cheung.
Tap: "I never go against mum although sometimes I disagree with her."
Tap: "I always ask myself. If I ever fall in love with someone, I wonder if I can treat him like the way my mum treats me.....no matter what happens, I will love him."
Sister
Sister: "Brother, I must tell u something. But u must not tell dad."
Hong: "What?? U are pregnant?"
Sister: "Of course not. I would never be."
Hong: "Why?"
Sister: "I am les!"
Hong: "What, leh???"
Sister: "Which means homosexual. I am interested in girls only."
Hong: " Why?"
Sister: " Whenever I go into the girls' toilet, I would have to urge to peep at other girls.Do u find me abnormal."
Hong (smiling): " It's not about normal or abnormal to be a homosexual. But it's certainly not so good to be a horny homosexual"
Sister: " Then, am I normal or not?"
Wyman (coming into the kitchen): "U are normal. Anyway, u are not in love with cats, dogs or this vegetable! Even if u are in love with them, that doesn't mean u are abnormal right?" Many people are like that too. Your brother and I ......"
Hong: " U are nuts"
Sister: "What if others laugh at me?"
Wyman: " Bash them up!"
Hong: "Even if others laugh at u, u can always tell them sincerely. Yes, I am gay. So what? They can't do anything, right?"
Hong's father (coming into the kitchen as well): What gay? Are both of u talking about gay?"
Girl making the first move
Sister: " Brother, there's a call for u."
Hong: "Who was it?"
Sister: "A girl."
Hong (expecting it was Tap): " Hello"
Phone call: "We're IRG survey company. How much time do u spend daily in the bathroom?"
Hong (annoyed that it wa not Tap) :"How do I know? Do u keep track of the time yourself? I have an incoming call...got to hang up"
Hong (press the button): "Hello?"
Tap (smiling, happy to hear his voice): " "
Tap off her phone and regretted that she didn't speak to him.
Friend helps out
Tap's friend: "Hello?"
Tap: "Hi, I have found that guy"
Tap's friend: "Which guy? The one who set up the microphone for u?"
Tap: "Yes."
Tap's friend: "What did u guys chat with each other?"
Tap: "Nothing, I heard his voice.... felt scared and just hung up"
Tap's friend: "Is that so? Ok, let me help u call him up.I wil ask him to call u. Then u guys can chat with each other."
Tap: "Really? Thanks."
Tap's friend: "What is his phone number?"
First Date
Hong: "I accompany u to take a taxi. "
Tap: "Let's take a bus. Then we can spend more time together"
