Narration
Lam: "I am Lam Tiet Nam. I have never whoring before. I couldn't believe I would do it also. Is there any ritual for a first-timer? According those who have done it before, there's none. This is my first time as an undercover. And it's also the first time I fouled up. They wouldn't have picked me if I aren't young. Hookers form Mainland are very active nowadays. Because of that, our superiors assign us to take action. The second time I saw her was on Sunday one week later. Don't know why the girl hated me so much."
Unhappiness
Lam's narration :"I am very unhappy. My eyes, ears, nose, mouth and limbs all are very unhappy. When people are unhappy, they will come to me. When I am unhappy, I don't know who I can go to. Strangely, I thought of her at last. "
Lam:" What is this?"
Charlie Yeung: "Mango, strawberry, mellon, kiwi fruit and papaya salad."
Lam: "Your stomach won't go upside down?"
Charlie: "U wil get used to it after 3 times. So, why are u looking for me?
Lam: "I am unhappy."
Charlie (smilling): "U have found the right person. Happy unhappy, men always come to me. I am an expert in making men happy."
Hotel.
Charlie: "Let's take a bath. Come on. Oh, I remember, u don't like bathing! Relax, I will make u happy later. What flavour do u like? Lemon, lime, strawberry? I prefer strawberry. Because it is the tastiest. If u don't like, then don't use. Just because it's u only."
Lam: "Do u take me as your client?
Charlie: "Come on! Do u have to pretend u are a saint?"
Lam (stared at her): "Besides doing it on the bed, what else do u know? When I am with u, I do not want to treat u as a hooker. But u act like a hooker."
Charlie: "Don't take it out on me just because u are upset. I am just thinking of making u happy. I wasn't thinking of charging u. I have decided to pay for the room too. We are friends, right? This is the only way I know that I can make a man happy. All men are alike. So, what's the big deal! U don't have to do it if u don't want to. Why do u have to say these words to hurt my feelings? A hooker is a hooker. I am a hooker, so what?"
Pregnancy
Lam: "Please don't surprise my mum anymore."
Charlie: "How much u know about your mum? I am the one who got shocked. She asked me to have an abortion."
Lam: "Are u really pregnant?"
Charlie: "Yes."
Lam: "That's a lie."
Charlie: "No, no, I'm not lying."
Lam: "So, what does your pregnancy has to do with me?"
Charlie: "I don't know. When I knew I was pregnant, I wished the baby was yours. That's why I came to u immediately. What's the matter with u?"
Lam: "In fact, if I......."
Charlie: "What?"
Lam: "If I............, If I take in the baby as my own, will u listen to me from now on?"
Charlie: "But the baby is not yours."
Lam: "I don't care."
She looked intently at him
Lam: "I don't care about that."
She was so touched by his words.
Charlie: "U are so foolish. U are nuts!"
Lam: "Promise me. It's very simple."
Charlie: "What?"
Lam: "Never lie again in future."
Charlie: "It's very beautiful here, right?"
Lam: "Actually, why u like lying?"
Charlie (started crying): "What? I don't think I am lying. U just don't believe my words. I believe in everything that I said. I just want to fool myself, is that alright? Can't I ? Can't I? U are insane."
They hugged each other.
Enough. Stop crying.
Charlie (wiping her tears away): No, I am not crying, I didn;t cry. Alright, due to your persistent request, I will never lie again, ok."
Lam: "What happens if u do?"
Charlie: "I swear I 'll be striked by thunder, ok."
Lam: "By the way, it's been a while since we met. I don't even know your name."
Charlie: "My name? It sounds very old fashioned. My name is Wong Jing."
Thunder strike at once.
She hugged him out of scare.
Lam: "Did u lie again? Let me hug u longer. Perhaps more tunder coming on the way."
Charlie: "My real name is Chan Pooi Ling."
NO more tunder.
Lam: "I knew your name long time ago. I checked your purse."
She pushed him away, seemed a bit angry.
Lam: "HOld me tight. Thunder is coming again."
She smiled and held him tight again.
Lam's narration: "There were no more thunder that night. She left the next morning. I paged her all day but she never replied."
