Some of the more memorable scenes:

Counselling Hot Line

Girl's voice: "This is the hot line for matrimonial councelling. How can we help u?"

Wai: "My name is Li."

Girl's voice: Mr, Li, what is your problem?"

Wai: "Actually, it's not a major problem, but it's been bothering me."

Girl's voice: "Are u married?"

Wai: "No."

Girl's voice: "In that case, u shouldn't be having any matrimonial problems."

Wai: "The problem is my best friend, a girl, and she's really a nice girl. She falls in love with a married man."

Girl's voice: "So, that means your friend is a third party."

Wai: "Yes."

Girl's voice: "Then u should have ask her to call me and I'll see what I can do for her."

Wai: "Yes, but she doesn't want others to know about it. U should understand, if she hasn't settled her case, the relationship between her and I can't have any futher development. So, may I ask, I, as the 4th party, what can I do?"

Wai's assistant (came in): "Wai."

Jordan (quickly put down the phone): "Yes?"

Wai's assistant: "We can start now."

Councelling Hotline Part 2

Girl's voice: "Mr. Li, your case is a bit complicated. And it's beyond our counselling territory."

Wai: "If u said like this, that means u don't want to help me. It's not the right attitute."

Suddenly Janet got near him and Wai was scared, dropping down the phone again.

Janet: "Who are u talking with? Why are so so excited?"

Wai (lied): "The income tax department, they did a wrong calculation of mine."

The man behind a sucessful woman.

Janet: "Don't u want to see our shop's name on the bridal pictures hung in every house of the Hong Kong people."

Wai: "Yes, then we will become rich."

Janet: "Of course, stupid. I have calculated well. Many want to get married before July 1997. If we take this chance to expand, we can match the demand. Really a good timing."

Wai (walked away) : "If u have already planed, why do u want to ask me? U are the boss, u decide it all."

Janet: "Hey, why do u say such things?

Wai: "Isn't it so? I am just your staff. Whether the shop is big or small, I'll still do the same job. If u don't fire me, I will always be happy."

Janet: "Come on, why should I fire u? If not with your assistance, how could I achive all these, right?"

Wai: "Really? Then I must be what the people say...the successful man. No... no... the man behind a successful woman?"

Janet: "Right, so I will have to give u a prize soon."

Wai: "What prize?"

Janet: "The greatest spy."

Wai: "I told u I am not a spy. This is market research."

Affair

Wai (tidying up Janet's room): How was it? Have u decided to rent the shop in Kowloon Tong?"

Janet: "The agent says he will bargain with the landlord to see it he can lessen the rent. But, forget it."

Wai: "Short of how much? Maybe I can invest some money in it. 3 million...."

Janet: "Wow, u have 3 million?"

Wai: "Come on, let me finish first. I want to say, 3 million, I don't have, but if u say 3 hundred thousand I can still fork out."

Janet: "U are not bad. U have that much of savings. But that's not impossibe since u don't have a girlfriend."

Wai:  "How do u know I don't have somebody?"

Janet: "I see u everyday in the shop. Of course I notice whether u are going out with somebody or not."

Wai: "Remember, last 2 months I went to China with my mum. I don;t mind telling u. I met a pretty girl in the village. She's so crazy about me."

Janet (smiled): "People treat u as sheep only."

Wai: "None of your business, She is pretty, gentle and considerate. Left of her face looks like Lin Ching Hsia. The right side like Sharon Stone."

Janet (smilling): "So, she must be very old."

Wai: "Last week, she came to HK to visit her relatives. She came to me to ask me about marriage. She proposed to me, isn;t it amazing?"

Janet: "U promised, didn't u?"

Wai: "If I did, I wouldn't be tidying up your room now. She misunderstood my Mandarin. I told her I am a photographer in HK. She mistook that as rich merchant.

Janet laughed.

Wai: "What are u laughing at? Before she left, she said she would wait for me."

Janet: "Yes, she's waiting for u to get rich, Merchant!"

Wai: "Come on, at least there's someone who propose to me before. Do u have any proposal?"

Janet face turned upset.

Wai: "OK, let's not talk about this. Let's watch disc."

Wai (going to the disc player): "It's out of order again. It's just been repaired."

Janet: "Ah Wai, in fact, u know it, isn't it?"

Wai: "What do I know?"

Janet: "My case."

Wai: "What case?"

Janet silent.

Wai: "Oh, I know a bit of it."

Janet: "How long has u known it?"

Wai: "As long as it has happened. As u said, we meet day and night, how could I not know of your affair, right?"

Janet: "So, do the staffs know it as well?"

Wai: "Everyone knows it, including the newly employed Mable knows it too."

Janet (walking away): "Then, that's all, I guess."

Wai: "Where are u going?"

Janet (back to her room): "I'm tired."

Wai: "Drink this bowl of medicine first. I nearly finished fixing the player. Let's watch one disc, OK.

Ending Narration

Janet: "I can't imagine 3 months later, I have become someone else wife too. Until today, I still don't understand why I would marry this guy........he seems that he never grow up. Perhaps, in this world, the most perfect and happy marriage is getting married with a person who loves u 100% while u love him 99%. So that, u would always have the feeling of being loved."
