| Forget Me Not | |||||||||||||||||||||
| I am here and you are there,
My pain is unfair, And this is how I walk to nowhere. Take my hand Show me another land. This is what I demand. When fire is in your eyes, a part of me dies. Slow but burning pain, My tears make no stain, in your heart, And death takes no toll, for the soul some one stole. But forgiveness is a start I take this on your part... Forget me not. This poem is about abuse. And how children deal with it. |
