My name is Erica, and I have been writing poetry for about 18 years, some of which is included in my non-Pagan poetry page. I have lived here in my home town of St. Louis all of my life, and I will have been Pagan for 10 years as of April 2008. One of the names I go by is Volcana, but close friends just call me Erica. I have written a number of short stories, most of them on Paganism. If you are interested, I have also written a short play on the winter solstice. I've also done some God and Goddess statues, and a few pictures of what I've done to date are included on my Goddess and God statue page, though these are not all of them.
Writing is truly my passion, and I hope to someday get published. I'm working on a book right now which I hope will be completed in another couple of years or so. If it gets published, I'll let everyone know, or I'll just keep everyone updated on its status. You can also find me on www.livejournal.com under Lycona if you want to check me out and get the most updated information on what is going on with me.
****Well, I'm now a married woman! It hasn't even been a month yet, and we've already started to fall into married people habits. I still have to change my name on a few other documents, but none of them are any that I have to do immediately. The SSN card, driver's license, bank, and insurance are the big ones. I know I said that I'd do a wedding page, and I will... eventually. Actually, once I decide on which pictures I want for the wedding album, I will include them here. That might still be a few weeks yet.****

My likes include rocks of any kind (I'm a triple Earth sign -- Virgo Sun, Virgo Rising, and Capricorn Moon), wolves, cats, anything Pagan, herbal studies (rank amateur, but here my Earth tendencies show again), divination particularly with tarot and runes (I guess the future fascinates me), and of course writing. My favorite color is dark orange, favorite foods include chocolate, steak, and crab legs, and favorite season is Autumn. My favorite flowers are daffodils, since the symbolize springtime (Spring being my second favorite season, actually a close second to Autumn).
I also have a black and white cat who turned 2 years old on March 1, 2008. His name is Pyewacket from the old Jimmy Stewart movie "Bell, Book, and Candle." I have a link to his first year of life and pictures of him here. He is a very smart cat who lives up to his name, and he loves to open doors, play catch, and snuggle with me on my couch. He's also a bit of a monster, too, and I can't say that Anthony likes him much. Truth be told, neither do I sometimes.
I'm currently working and living in South County, spending most of my time writing. Unfortunately, there may not be many new additions in the form of short stories online in the near future due to my book, but as soon as I have a completed copy, I should have a teaser available online for you to read. Check back frequently for updates. As of January 2008, I have a good portion of the book written and hope to have it complete sometime in the next year to two years.
