Here are the RULES!

Do not talk back to seniors, even when you are scolded.

When you are given a punishment, accept it.

Have a valid reason when arriving late for practices[only school classes and enrichment courses or school official business, examinations and ill-health are valid reasons]

Tell a section member about your abscence before the practice

If you are late for combine, remember to ask 'May I join in'

Do not touch other peoples instruments unless prior permission is given.

Handle instrument with care, dun drag your instrument.

Misplacement/ spoilage/breakage of reeds before expected time=punishment [bassoon= 4 months, bass clarinet/ baritone sax= 2 months]

Any fault in instrument/reed/stand should be reported to SL

Punishment to those who don't take care of their instrument. Ask a band member to take care of it.

Never leave anything that belongs to the section unattended.

Only practice with your own section, practice with other section members only with prior permission

Breaks and dismissal can only be given by SL

SECTION PUNISHMENT!!!

drop stand - 2 rounds/2 minutes

loss/ spoilage/ breakage of reed - 5 rounds/ 5 minutes

bad attitude - depends on seriousness

any other punishment for any VALID reasons may also be given without prior notice

Only section leaders may give punishments

Miscellaneous: Section fund to be handed in to treasurer on a monthly basis
