Ethics

This is here because I have the opportunity to put it here. It may be poor but it IS, at least.

The idea behind this is that kinda lo-fi, underground, whetever ethic. I want to be able to dish out sounds to people who want to hear them, so I will make stuff available to anyone, anywhere for just cost.

If i say �1.50 per cd to you it's nice and easy. I rekon that i am actually working at a slight loss, well i will never recoup my original interest untill i have sold the blank cd's and stuff. but i will always buy more. so yea.

I AM NOT trying to make money from this, neither are any of the artists, but by the same token i do not wish to lose the little money i do have as i have things which are believe it or not more constructive than this to spend it on (ie my 'proper' record label www.bigdumbrecords.co.uk - which is also non-profit) so as �1.50 is nice and round and reasonable that will be the standard price for each CD.

If the price is different for any reasond it will be explained somewhere on this page, most probable right next to the afore mentioned article, or at least a link to an explanation from there.

If you are an artist and would like to do some stuff for wHY DON'T YOU / Chocolax then you might want to know the 'deal' as it were. Well the deal is no one gets paid, not you not me not anyone i see.. umm er. yes, you let me reproduce your stuff and i make it possible for others to get hold of it.

If you receive any offer of an official release I will stop reproducing the song, unless ofcourse you wish for the continued availability of the release on this label. You retain all rights and may transfer the same songs and even the same recordings to another label.

We're doing this for the fun of it, not to make a living. If you want to talk about any sort of deals or arrangements or whetever feel free to propse them to me, I'm pretty much working on whoever's terms. Just MAIL and ask/tell me.
