not in that adolescent marilyn manson/slipknot kind of way but in a way that is completely different and much much more aurally satisfying.
He says that some of the tracks may be boring and that it's his fault for listening to too much mogwai and god speed.. Methinks the boy is suffering from illusions, this record is very pleasing indeed, and stimulating.
Also sounds nothing like either of the bands he mentioned, well nothin i have heard by them (which admittedly isn't a hell of a lot. oh), anyway, we have an electronic based sound, I don't know what he used to make them but i do know he's used some programmed drums and they do work very well. Yay! |
