IIEC as the part of the National University "Lviv Polytechnika" was established in August,1992 by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine with the aim of Coordination intereducational relations and international contacts in the development of the pedagogic science, problems of theory and metodology of education, working out and approbation of the latest pedagogic technologies, informational service of the educational institutions of Ukraine, realization of the interstate educational programs and agreements, revival and development of the national culture, organisation of the different forms of contacts and cooperation with Ukrainian diaspora.
IIEC invites all interested organisations and societies in Ukraine and abroad for cooperation.
