Example: her painting, my writing, cooking, our long-gone
relatives (learned her mom & I shared the same
birthday!), our youth - highschool & grammar school -
esp. some of the "boys" we knew, hot-spots of
the day, her kids/ grandkids, my nieces/nephews, and wild
times.

Another of our
"mates," Gloria Keast Smith, lives near
Bonnie, so I get updates from that quarter, too. Bonnie made me some
great pickled fish, I made her some Christmas cookies.
She gave me one of her great "Hawk" paintings
on wood, I gave her a pair of shoes (I know, she was the
loser in THAT trade) ahaha...she also designed a
"caricature" of me for our publicity campaign.
VERY flattering, I must say! She wrote a damn good review
of my book on amazon.com too! What a gal!
