Shoyo High School, Computer Laboratory, 15th of April, 9a.m.
“Good morning! I’m your computer teacher, Mr. Nakagawa.”
“Isn’t he handsome, Yuki-chan?”
“Sshh…Keep quiet.”
“This year, you guys are very lucky because our computer lab just got the Internet service. So every one of you will have a free email account and surfing usage from our school.”
The students of Class 1/3 started to chat exciting to one another.
“Isn’t that great, Yuki?” Natsu turned to her twin elder sister.
“What’s more, the Ministry of Education had just set up a board for all high school students to talk about lessons and project works. I will teach you how to get the email account first.”
“Oh my god~! We can get to know other boys from another schools~!”
“Natsu~! Please control yourself. Our classmates are looking at us~!”
“Because we are the most beautiful girls in Class 1/3, Onee-chan. So, have you decided your user name for your email account?”
“I don’t know. What about you?”
Although Kimura Yuki(Snow) and Kimura Natsu(Summer) were twins, their characters were totally different. Yuki was the quiet and understanding girl while Natsu was cheerful and playful, just like what their names meant.
“Since your name is Yuki, what about Snow Girl? I shall call myself Summer Girl.”
“It’s sounds so weird.”
“Come on! Both of them begin with a ‘S’~!”
“Oh…all right.”
Shoyo High School, Outside Computer Laboratory, 21th of April, 11a.m.
“Kenji, don’t you think it’s unfair? They only provide Internet usage in our LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL?”
“Calm down, Toru. It’s still not too late that we are having one right now. At least, we are a bit lucky than our seniors before us. Come on, let’s go in before we are late for class.”
Fujima walked to the last row of the computers and sat down in front of his favourite computer in school, Number 36. Hanagata sat down beside him and used Number 37. They liked to use these 2 computers as they could surf the Internet without letting their computer teacher knows. That’s the advantages of sitting the last row.
Hanagata went to search for his favourite manga while Fujima went to the National High School Students Board. He left a message over there last time, asking for help about the World War II. It’s had been days that he didn’t check out the board and was surprised that no one replied back to his message~!
“I can’t believe this~! Why there’s no reply messages to me?” Fujima said angrily.
“Look at the board carefully. There’s no one asks about school works. Only ‘Wants to know cute girl?’ or ‘Do you like boys play basketball?’ stuff. I’m not surprised that no one replies back to you because they might think you are a boring person.” Hanagata said without taking his eyes off the monitor in front of him, as he knew what the board was going on. He already told Fujima about this, but he still want to try.
“I’m a boring person? I still don’t believe. I’m going to check my email to see if anyone send any information to me.”
Hanagata shrugged his shoulders and said. “As you wish.”
Fujima went to log into his email account and was happy to see there’s one new mail. He clicked on that mail and read it. It’s from a person called “Snow Girl”.
“See~!” Fujima said excitingly to Hanagata. “There’s someone out there also having the same interest as me~!”
“I don’t understand, Fujima. Why do you like History so much? Lucky that I didn’t take History or else I will be sleeping in every lessons.”
Fujima ignored Hanagata’s questions and clicked on the ‘Reply’ button.
Kimura Residence, 21th of April, 9:30p.m.
“What’s this?” Yuki pushed her blue-metallic glasses higher on her nose and looked closer to the monitor.
“What~?!” Natsu immediately threw down her Hana To Yume comic magazine which she was reading on Yuki’s bed and dashed to the computer. “Oh~! I didn’t know the ‘Ken’ guy will really replied back to you~!”
“What are you talking about, Natsu? Don’t tell me you are the one who behind this.”
“Well…I saw this guy’s message about World War II at the National High School Students Board. He also likes History, same as you~! Beside, he needs help, so I use your email account to reply him.” ^_^
Yuki lowered her head and sighed. It’s no longer a surprise that Natsu knew her password, even though she never tells her. The twins bond between them was so strong that they sometimes could sense each other was facing danger, lying or secrets.
“Come on, Yuki-chan~! You always like to help people. If you help him, you might be friends with him~!”
From the day they started their elementary school, Yuki was so shy that she didn’t dare to make friends in their class, unlike Natsu who was so popular in class. Even now she’s still did because of her cheerful face.
Since then, Natsu kept trying to make Yuki to be brave. Soon, she realised that she couldn’t change one’s character. So she gave up when they went into Junior High School. Until she saw this ‘Ken’ guy’s message, she decided to give it a try again.
“All right. But next time if you are doing this again, I won’t forgive you.”
“Hai~! Onee-chan~!”
After saying the words, Natsu immediately took her comic magazine and went back to her own room. Yuki looked back at the monitor and decided to reply to this ‘Ken’ guy.
Fujima Residence. 21th of April, 11:15p.m.
“I see . . . but I’m still very glad to meet a new friend.” Fujima put up a smile and began to type very fast on his keyboard.
“Onee-chan, look~! The captain of the boys’ team is so handsome~!”
“Every boy looks handsome to you.” Yuki said without turning her head to look at the captain whom Natsu was talking about.
“I didn’t~! This captain is GORGEOUS~! Just take a look and you will know that I’m not lying~!”
Finally, Yuki turned and looked. Natsu really wasn’t lying. That guy has the deepest blue eyes Yuki has ever seen. His brown coloured hair danced beautifully in the sunlight as he ran to his teammates.
“All the new members please come over here~!” The captain of the girls’ team shouted.
“We got to go, Natsu.” Yuki forced her eyes away from the captain of the boys’ team.
“I can’t believe we have SUCH a gorgeous guy in our school team~! What’s more he’s the captain and coach of the boys’ team.”
“He’s WHAT~!” Yuki said so loudly that everyone turned to look at both of them, including Fujima.
“Not so loud, Yuki~!” Natsu immediately put an apologising smile to everyone in the gym. “Unlike us, we have a lady coach. I heard that the school saw the talent in him, so they decided to make him the coach of the boys’ team in order to improve him.”
Yuki turned to look at Fujima one more time. Somehow, she felt that she would have an unforgettable high school life.
