On April 26th 1999
I was about two days old when
I was found under a bush,all alone,
scared, cold and very hungry.
My mom was no where around. I was taken to
a nice warm place where I met
a new momma kitty and her babies.
Momma kitty fed me as if I were one of her own and
the babies snuggled and played with me everyday.
I soon became strong and healthy.

One afternoon a kind and gentle woman came to see me.
She took me outside, made a bed for me
in her hands and held me so gently.
I could feel the warmth of the sun and hear her
gentle voice talking to me.
I felt so safe and secure with her.
She stayed with me for a long time until I fell asleep in her hands.
I woke up just as she was putting me back in my cage and walking away.
I listened to her talk to me until her voice
became a whisper as she dissappeared from my view.
Everyday I would listen for that soft,
gentle voice to come and comfort me again.
While I waited patiently for her return, I had to pay a
visit to the local veterinarian , where I was spayed, given tests,
dewormed and just plain checked all over !!
I was then taken back to my cage where I took a well deserved little nap !
Soon after falling asleep, I was awaken by a familiar voice.
It was her !! That gentle, comforting voice I had
been hoping and waiting to hear!
I was so excited to see her again and before I knew it,
I was in my new home with her, where I am to this day !

�I never go outside, but thats just fine with me
because my mom plays with me all the time.
We watch the birds in the feeder
outside while she brushes me,
I have a lot of condos,
window seats and comfy places to nap (moms lap is the best !)
I also have a lot of toys and a TV to watch.
OH...Did I mention all the kisses and hugs?
� I get a lot of those.

I have a�Dad, two brother kitties and one brother dog
and we love each other very much too.
Yes, I am spoiled
and I am loving every minute of it!
� My only hope is that more kitties
can be as lucky as I was.
There is no greater gift in life
than to be loved and cared for
and when you're a kitty,
thats all you want to give !!!

P.S. Incidently, the long mane I have around my neck
used to be on my head when I was a tiny kitty!!!
