I have had the opportunity to be a co-chair of my former school site's technology committee.  This involved running meetings, determining needs, creating prioritized lists of technology expenditures, and helping teachers to use technology for productivity and instructional purposes.  The committee minutes, needs survey and E.E.T.T. schedule were chosen as evidence of these responsibilities.  Now, I am working in a district capacity as a teacher on special assignment.  One of the tasks that I have undertaken is that of creating and overseeing a district-wide needs and attitude survey, using Finalsite Survey Tool, which allowed me to be able to send it out electronically, and to look at the resultant data in a variety of ways.  Our district technology plan was currently rewritten, and we used this data to inform our work on that.  Too, we will thinking about and planning future staff development opportunities, and what we learn from the survey results will assist with our decision-making.  This is the area of leadership in whichI have the least amount of experience, and I look forward to the chance to gain more exposure to planning and budgeting decision-making.
