| ~michael~ hello my name is michael ramirez last week on march 16 2002 the kumbiakings performed at a place my grandpa owned so we got to see their sound check my sister was so happy she cried so cruz,cisko and slim came up to her and asked her why she was criyng so then they gave her a big hug and that made her feel better so thats my story . michael Kansas ~machelle~ I met the Kumbia Kings 4 times. The first time was in 1999. The second and third time was in 2001 and the last time was this April. I have to say that the third and fourth time was the best. In December of 2001 they came to El Paso and I happened to be at the hotel were they were staying at. They asked me if I would mind taking to them to the mall so we went to the mall. While we were there we went to eat and of course shop. Then after that I had to take them back to the hotel so that they could get ready for the concert. After the concert they invited me back to the hotel and we partied all night. Then in April they came back to El Paso and my friend was working at the hotel they were staying at and she called me to tell me they were there so I went. When the guys were walking in they recognized me and asked me what was I going to do that night. I told them that I had no plans so they asked if I would be willing to go with them in their bus and show them around town (of course I didn't mind) so I waited while they got ready and we went out partying. After partying we went back to the hotel and just chilled. When I was leaving they asked me if I was going to back the next day to see them. I said yes. The next day I went back to the hotel and again we just chilled. Then they had to leave to go to the concert in Mexico (actually it was only 5 minutes away). So I went to the concert and after went back to the hotel with them so I could be with them before they left. The guys were so nice to let me spend so much time with them that is why I would have to say that they are not only my favorite group I can say they are truly great FRIENDS! ~Nidia~ hey my name isNidia Guerrero well my story happen like this it was that day that the kumbia kings came to dallas tx to the fair park i never imagine i was goona get to see them in person well the concert had finish already and i wanted to go back stage so bad i mean but so bad so when i hurt some man scremming hey slim come get ur boy george i ask them if i could go back stage with them they said yeah but u have to help me with my brothers kids i said yeah sure ill do anything to see the kumbia kings,and also because i saw some girls trying to get in and some lady pull the girl by her hair i was oh my god well after all i got to see them in person i was so happy i couldnt imagine i got to kiss all of them abd hugg them for a long time they are so nice i hope i get to see them again back stage at leas for one minute thas my wish i hope somebody can help me out to make my wish come true ~Erika~ Hey my name is Erika. I got in Da Zone with the Kumbia Kings on 9-1-01 at Island Jam 2001. I had been waiting for the kings to get there for a very long time. Well, you all know the whole story about Kane that day and why they were late to perform. Well, finally the kings got there and they had to perform without Kane. I was watching the kings perform from backstage. I was right below Frankie when I hear A.b. say that he was gonna get some girls on stage. I didn't really think that much about it cuz there was a lot of girls so I really didn't think that they were gonna pick me. They had no reason to anyway cuz they were getting girls out from the crowd. So as I was looking to the side I heard someone call me and grab my shoulder. I turned and it was the one and only "El Pollito" "DREW." He was like "come on stage." He didn't have to ask me twice. I got on from the back steps and I was looking at all the people. It was cool cuz I was holding drews hand the whole time. Then he broke out into a song and of course I was feeling it!!! Then I got to hug and kiss all the kings. It was cool. That's why I love kk so much cuz they are always doing cool things for there fans!! |
