Part 5

She awoke slowly to find herself bound to the wall in shackles. Xander stood next to her in his boxers and t-shirt, also bound. She glanced around the room and saw Buffy and Angelus busy on the bed. She closed her eyes, shocked by what she saw. She heard their moans and turned her head to look at Xander. His face was pale and he was staring at her.

"They killed Cordy," he said dully, his voice void of emotion.

"Did they leave her for you to find too?" she asked quietly, not wanting to draw attention to them.

"No, they told me, play by play, what they did to her."

"Oh," she said, deflated. She cleared her throat as tears welled up in her eyes. "They killed Oz and left his body in my room."

Xander stared at her with compassion and sympathy on his face. "God, Will. I'm sorry. I guess we're next," he replied.

She nodded. "I guess so. How long have they been going at it?" she asked, tossing her head in the direction of the bed. Xander, not being able to watch, kept his eyes glued on Willow.

"A long time. They forced me to watch at one point...but then they forgot about me," he said. "I wish they'd kill us already and get it over with."

"Be careful what you wish for, Xand, it might come true," Buffy said as she rose from the bed and pulled on a tiny robe. She walked up to him and pushed her body against his, running her hands up his arms and looking him in the eye. "But it won't this time, sorry."

She turned to Willow, who looked away from her friend, not baring to see her like this. "Awake, I see. Sorry I hurt you," she said sweetly, running her hand over the bruise on the side of Willow's head. She winced slightly and Buffy leaned over, kissing it lightly. "There, there. Mommy will make it all better."

"Why are you doing this?" Xander asked, his voice almost pleading. Buffy looked back at Angelus, who lounged on the bed and he indicated for her to explain herself.

"Because it's fun. You see," she said, walking back over to the bed and drawing the curtain aside. Angelus slipped his boxers back on and moved to sit on the side of the bed, where Buffy joined him. He pulled her close as they gazed at the two prisoners. "We were originally gonna kill you two, like we did your little significant others. But we decided that wasn't fun enough. Besides, I'd miss you guys too much. And we know that Will still loves you, Xand, so we decided to give you two a shot. You'll thank us someday."

Willow and Xander just stared at each other with horror on their faces. They realized what was going to happen to them...what they were about to become.

"Don't look so terrified," Angelus snapped. "You'll stay young and beautiful--well, Willow will stay beautiful--forever. We'll rule this town and we'll have a blast."

They stood slowly and walked over to where they were chained. Xander pulled at his bonds uselessly and they laughed at him.

"Which one should we do first?" Buffy asked as she stared at her two best friends. Soon, they'd be one big family. They would hunt together, play together, rule together. She smirked at their fear.

"You do Willow first. I want to do Xander," Angelus grinned an evil smile. Buffy nodded and walked up to where Willow stood. The poor girl shook horribly and was as pale as a ghost. She reached up to stroke her face as she spoke to her.

"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt. Don't cry, sweetie," she said soothingly as she wiped the tears from her face. "It'll be all right. You and Xander can be together, just like you always dreamed you would be. You can wear all the things you never would have dared to before, do all the things you only dreamt of. You1ll love it, I promise."

She slowly stroked her face and kissed her cheek as her face changed. She positioned herself over Willow's neck and bit in. Willow cried out at the burst of pain that shot through her body. Her neck felt red-hot as Buffy drank her blood then backed away. Grinning, she cut her finger and forced Willow to suck on it, drinking her blood. Satisfied she had enough, she pulled it away as Willow dropped off into unconsciousness, her head sagging. She backed up and kissed Angelus hungrily, running her hands over his bare chest. He broke away and she pushed him gently over to where Xander stood, terrified.

"You hate me. I know. But I wanted to sire you, mostly so I could brag to you before I did it. You saw, before. You watched us. You know you could never compare to me. Why even wish? She never would have gone for you," he said evilly, clasping his hands in front of him. "Not even if I had never come into the picture. But you'll have Willow, even if you don1t deserve her."

He changed and bit into Xander's neck viciously, but he made no sound. He just stared off into the distance, probably saying his prayers. Angelus back up and slit his wrist, shoving it in the poor boy's face. "To eternal life," Xander said drunkenly before lapping up the blood. He too fell into unconsciousness and they stood back and admired their handiwork.

He took her hand and they wandered out into the main room where Spike sat on the couch, wheelchair less. He looked up when their door opened.

"Spike, so good to see you back on your feet!" Buffy said as they sat on the couch with him, Buffy on Angelus' lap. "Where's Dru?"

"Playing dress up with her bloody doll. Love the lack of clothes look. New trend?" he asked, smiling. She grinned back.

"Yeah. We're just waiting for them to wake up," she told him.

"You two have been pretty busy," he observed. "Killing three and turning two in two nights. I'm impressed," he said as he pulled a pack of cigarettes out of his coat pocket. He handed one to Buffy and Angelus and lit his own before tossing them the lighter.

"Yeah, well, patience is definitely not one of my virtues," she said as she blew out the smoke slowly.

"I noticed," Angelus said dryly. She just grinned at him. They sat in comfortable silence while they smoked before Buffy stood, crushing her cigarette butt beneath her bare foot. Angelus followed suit and they walked back into their bedroom to wait for their children to wake up.
