Part 6
The growling coming from the wall caused them to look up from an episode of Jerry Springer. Willow and Xander were awake, game faces on, and they were gazing at each other hungrily. Grinning, Buffy jumped off the bed and walked over to them, pulling keys out of the pocket in her short robe. She undid both of their bonds and backed up. They glanced at her and then at each other and launched themselves at each other. Their lips met and they kissed savagely as Angelus stood and wrapped his arms around Buffy.
They broke off after a long time and turned to their sires. "Thanks," they said simply.
"No problem. What do you say we get you some new clothes and then you guys can...do whatever you want. Then when the sun sets, we'll all get a bite to eat," Buffy said, walking over to her dresser. She pulled out a red tank top and black leather skirt and tossed them to Willow. She then went and pulled out a pair of knee-high boots from the closet and gave them to her as well. Willow gazed at them.
"Okay, now Xander...here," she said, her voice slightly muffled as she spoke from the closet. She tossed him a pair of Angelus' leather pants and a white wife-beater. He just looked at them.
"You sure you don't mind?" he asked his sire, who just shook his head.
"Take 'em, they don't fit me anymore," he said. "Follow me, I'll show you two to your room."
Buffy and Angelus led them out of their room and down the hall. They opened the door to a room next door to their own and switched on the light. There was a king-sized bed, a TV, a dresser, and a computer in it.
"Geez, where do you guys get all your money?" Xander asked as he and Willow stepped into the room and looked around. Angelus chuckled.
"Stock market. Spike handles the finances," he replied.
"Have fun," Buffy said as they closed the door. "We'll come get you after sunset."
They went back and invited Spike into their room to watch Jerry Springer. Drusilla joined them and they sat on the bed, Buffy braiding Dru's hair to get her to shut up about things they could do as sisters. They passed the time by telling Buffy about their pasts, grinning whenever they heard noises coming from Willow and Xander's room. Sunset came and they all decided to find some dinner. They went to the Bronze and partied their butts off, eating many of the high school kids there. They left
laughing and went to Giles apartment where they glimpsed him through the window, reading a book.
"He really needs to get a bloody life," Spike remarked as they came up with a plan.
Willow and Xander walked up to the door and knocked while the others hide. Giles answered and seemed surprised and relieved to see them. They were too far away to hear the conversation, but when Giles gestured for them to walk in, they smiled. They crept to the door and waited for Xander to open the door for them and
invite them in.
"Giles!" Buffy cried as she sauntered into the room with Angelus, Spike, and Drusilla in tow. Xander went over to stand next to Willow and they kissed. Giles looked at them in shock, terror on his face.
"Buffy..." he whispered.
"That's my name. Oh, don't look so sad. We're doing you a favor. What will it be, hmm? Eternal life? Or a quick death? It's your choice," she said as she inched closer to him. "We could be one big happy family."
"We could have a tea party," Drusilla said as she walked up to the Watcher. The others let her play. "You could have a new, special friend. But you don't want a new friend. You still miss your gypsy," she placed her hand over his heart. He recoiled at her touch and she smiled. "Your heart weeps for her, poor dear. You'll be with her soon...no need to fear."
She suddenly closed her eyes and raised her head, as if searching for something. "Yes, I feel her...she's waiting for you. She misses you."
"Well, Giles? What'll it be?" Buffy asked leaning around Drusilla so he could see her. He gazed at his Slayer, tears forming in his eyes.
"You were like a daughter to me, Buffy...and you lost. I feel as if I failed you in some way..." he trailed off, looking into the young, innocent, beautiful face before him as his heart broke. She gazed at the person she had always considered a father. She remembered him being strong when she had been weak, all the times he came through for her. But then she shook her head. Those weren't her memories. Those were the memories of the Slayer. She was now the vampire. She frowned slightly as
she moved forward.
""Yeah, well, your little girl is all grown up. I'll miss you, Giles. Give Jenny our love," she said as her face transformed into the face of a demon and she licked her lips.
He stood silently and took it as she bit into his flesh, sipping some and then passing it to Angelus. They continued passing him around until the body was drained, then turned and left the apartment.
They walked back to the mansion and all went off into their own rooms. Buffy and Angelus curled up on their bed as she thought of everything she had done. He turned to gaze at his dark lover.
"You okay?" he asked. She smiled up at him.
"Of course. Just thinking," she said as she looked at him. She realized how much in love with him she was. It surprised her that a demon could love, but thats what she felt right now. Her demon loved his demon and it was clear to all who saw. It was sick and twisted, but they did have a pretty normal relationship--well, except for the killing people part. They talked, they cuddled, they loved, they laughed. He looked at her and she smiled.
"I love you," she said. He grinned and pulled his dark goddess close.
"I love you too. You never cease to amaze me," he replied and she grinned and got a mischievous look in her eye. She quickly straddled him and kissed him roughly. He returned it and wrapped his arms around his demonic lover, pulling her closer.
