Bryan Baar

Bryan Baarhas owned and operated Elite Baseball & Softball for 7 years. A Jenison native, Byran spent 3 years at Western Michigan Univeristy before being a 7th round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1989. He spent 4 years in the Dodger organization, reaching the AAA level in 1992. Byran was a AA All-Star catcher in 1991 and spent one yaer on the Dodgers 40 man roster. Bryan provides great leadership for today's players looking to improve their play. Bryan is currently an area scout for the Cleveland Indians.

Mike Paul

Enters his sixth year as Elite Baseball's head pitching coach. Mike has trained 5 pitchers who have gone on to sign pro contracts in the last four years along with numerous others who have gone on to perfor at the collegiate level. Mike is a certified Functional Fitness instructor who also scouts for the Minnesota Twins organization.

Dave Joppie

has spent 8 years in the Oakland A's organization as a manager and a hitting coach. An Aquinas College 4 year letter winner and graduate, Dave has coached major league players Jason Giambi, Eric Chavez, Miguel Tejada, and Ben Grieve, to name a few. Dave joins our staff as a hitting instructor.

Jim Abbott

A Minnesota Twins farmhand and 1998 graduate of Caledonia High School, continues as a hitting and pitching instructor. Jim pitched in Quad City of the Mid- West League this year and had a solid campaign, which included 8 shut-out innings in a start against the Whitecaps.
