Although there have been different incarnations
and facets to the musical entity of Lunar Dawn, the idea was rather simple
in several respects. The main focal point being to combine thrash metal,
melodic death metal, and any other influences in an ongoing tribute to
the passion of music. Secondly was to just plain enjoy ourselves in playing
stuff that we like. However to attain said goals is an easier thing said
than done. What is completely imperative in this sort of situation
is the ability to work with a group of people while keeping the objective
in mind. Enter the lineup changes. The lineup changes happened over the
span of a couple of months; the filling in of a bass slot, then a drummer,
the addition of a keyboardist,and only more recently, the finding of a
new singer. ( The only two original members are Stephen and Paul )
Due to personal, creative, and differentiation in opinion, the lineup is
what it is today without uncertainty or doubt as to what goal we have.
TO KICK YOUR ASS. Yeah, thats right. Each member today brings a different
color to the musical pallete and aside from all else, are good friends.
Some bands don't even have that, heh. Hopefully we can relate to you in
our songs and or lyrics on some level.And if not, notice how one of the
foci did not include appealing to all. To each his own.... And this is
ours...
