Azumanga Maneki Neko Based on: Azumanga Daioh Three good luck kitties and one bad luck cat. For the curious, the good luck tokens say "ten million ryou." The ryou is an old unit of currency, and "ten million ryou" ("sen man ryou") is one of the most common things you'll see on a maneki neko's coin. The bad luck token says "kyou," the same as the bad fortune Tomo got at the temple. It means evil or disaster. |
